Applications

Specifiq twin screw extruders are the heart of the processing plants for biodegradable products, The modular structure of the process section enables individual adaptation to every application so that optimal product qualities are achieved. Apart from the extruder, we also provide the entire plant periphery from the raw material feeding to pelletizing and drying of the pellets. Alternatively, it is possible to produce biodegradable products by direct extrusion.

Master Batches

Color pigments base polymer additives (Carbon black loading up to 50%.) Titanium base and other polyolefin.
Engineering Plastics

TPE Thermoplastic Elastomers

TPE-O in this case describes elastomer alloys which consist of different percentages of thermosplastics and elastomers., PE-V describes thermoplastic elastomers with a cross-linked rubber component. The cross-linking and dispersion of the EPDM.

Food Products and Pharmaceuticals

SE & A have designed a new retrofit clam shell barrel that will replace older worn out barrels with a range of new harder wearing or more corrosive resistant premium materials that maximizes performance against cost that will give the Food manufacturer in the snacks and breakfast cereal sectors improved performance, productivity and profits. Our screw elements have been carefully developed to give the precise geometry to maximize machine performance.

Screw elements and liners are made from a range of materials from corrosion & wear resistant stainless steels through to specialist HIP powder metallurgy steels for superior performance.
SE & A offer upgrades for older W&P and APV MPF food extruders including retrofit barrels and barrel extensions for increased mixing or raw material processing, updating screw shafts from round to hex; and hex to spline profiles plus gearbox overhauls and the addition of hydraulic barrel actuators to improve barrel opening and closing.

Powder Coating


The ZV range of Twin screw extruders has been developed for compounding powder coating products, based on knowledge and experience of designing, building and running twin screw extruders for the Powder Coating and thermoplastic compounding industries Specific Engineering & Automats have assimilated the high volume clamshell segmented barrels and selected effective screw length L/D 22 and designed screw geometry based on low shear force, homogenous mixing and high dispersion machine designed for processing powder coatings in the most efficient and economic way.

Toner


Toner recipes consist of resins (styrene acrylic), pigments and additives. These components are first processed in a mixer to form a premix. And this premix handle by closely intermeshing twin screw extruder where different kind of screw elements like mixing, compression, kneading, reverse take care Homogenized, mixing, & dispersion. And finally product come out of lip die to conti-cooler for immediate cooling with the help of Chilled squeezing roller and transporting through bigger roller and conveyor belt to crusher and crusher convert chips in to small required practical say 4-5mm and the to jet mill.
